What's New?
-
"I've been doing Linux my whole career and have used various languages. I've been using mostly Python for the past year and love it! Most stuff I do is CLI, but I'm anxious to learn web development and GUI programming with Python as well. "
-
"Hey there. I probably have the least experience of this bunch as I have just started dabbling in programming. In fact, I'm still learning the basics of python programming but have become very interested in learning more. Thats it in a nutshell."
-
"Hi, I'd like to exchange ideas and learn more about python, as well as meet new people."
-
"I dabbled in VB and took a few C++ classes before diving into PHP on my own and I'm now a full time PHP Developer. I'd really like to get into the Python and Ruby languages to expand my capabilities. Hopefully I can find some help!"
-
"I primarily do PHP web applications. I started programming in the C++ environment before going into PHP land."
-
"I'm a reformed C/Unix hacker that has turned to Python and Ruby for readable, expressive code. I'm finding Python much more suited to serious networking code and I'm currently using it for a core protocol engine."
-
"I'm an independent Web developer, well versed in Java, a Ruby on Rails developer for 2 years now. Have always been kind of interested in Python (also some Perl in my background). Would enjoy a good exchange of ideas."
-
"Highly interested in GRID-type deployment, systems-level development such as PAM, and RFC-level protocol implementations. Python is "batteries included" and incredible for many tasks."
-
"Cheating on Perl after an abusive long term relationship, and decided to see what Python was all about! A senior tech for (Perl driven) cPanel by day, hobbyist programmer by night. Hope to get acquainted with the pythonites, and take on new projects."
-
"Hey, I'm working on my first couple of Django projects too. Hope to see you at the next meeting."
-
"Hey. I just moved back to Houston from Philadelphia and am interested in meeting people in the Houston design, development, and UX communities. I've recently begun learning Python through Django."
