Just a brief message from the DFW Python Users Group. I wanted to invite all the Python programmers in Houston to make the trip to Dallas in late February. We managed to lure the national Python conference to Texas this year, so let's show them that not all the Python programmers are in the Washington D.C. area, where last three conferences have been held.

This year we've having a full day of tutorials before three packed days of presentations. And then four days of hands-on coding sprints for various projects so bring your laptops and get ready to code!

We've worked to keep costs down, by placing the core days on the weekend, for those who can't get off work and to get the hotel room rate as low as $79/night. The conference registration fee is $250 ($150 for students) [Early Bird rate of $185 expires tonight, Jan 15th].

And there is a party on Saturday night at the Nerdbooks.com bookstore.

The conference is going to be a lot of fun this year, and much closer to us Texans. Don't miss it.
