Contract/Telecommute Python Crawler Developer

We crawl, parse, analyze, extract meta data from, and construct meta-meta data from tens of millions of HTML and XML sources. Your job is to understand our roadmap and work as part of a team to implement new routines and algorithms and to upgrade and repair existing ones. You will work in Linux, MySQL, and Python, and you must love documentation. You will also need experience with HTML, XML, RSS, Atom, and blogs.

You must have your own work space, must demonstrate high productivity in a distributed environment, and must be skilled in collaboration via phone, email, and IM. You must be able and willing to meet edge-of-reasonable deadlines.

Candidates can live anywhere in the USA, but you must be a US Citizen or green card holder. Canadian is ok too.

Hourly rate is D.O.E. (dep on exp)
