Howdy Gang!

After listening to the talk about ctypes at the November '06 meeting, I decided to find out more about that package. So I'm sitting here at my Mac, using Python 2.5 (which has ctypes built-in), and am amazed at how incredibly easy it makes it to call pretty much *any* function.

So far I've played mostly with libc ('cause it's easy and the ctypes package docs use it in the examples), but feel confident now that there is nothing that one can't to with Python.

If you haven't used it yet, give it a shot!
