This Meetup Group focuses on web related design issues. We privilege conceptual vs. technical. (i.e. how to do good design vs. what application to use) Tech sessions at the end, if requested. Business issues welcome too!

Python is a general-purpose, high-level programming language whose design philosophy emphasizes code readability. Python claims to "[combine] remarkable power with very clear syntax", and its standard library is large and comprehensive. Its use of indentation for block delimiters is unique among popular programming languages. This is the former Django Miami Group, since we're merging with PySoFlo I decided to change it to just Python.

We are the latest in an international chain of social groups formed to meet monthly to raise a glass or more to the Lisp family of languages, a chain that began with LispNYC and shares with that great group a common founder, Lisp legend Kenny Tilton, aka His Kennyness.
